Multicultural Evangelism. . .$6,000
To assist ethnic groups in evangelizing the lost among them and developing them into loyal, dedicated disciples of Christ.

Sports Evangelism…$10,000
Sports Crusaders, ministry of Bobby Shows, “On Mission through Sports”. To offset cost of camps to churches and individuals.

Youth Evangelism and Missions…$7,000
To train middle school and high school students in how to share their faith effectively one-on-one and to assist Super Summer, which will train not only middle school and high school students, but youth pastors as well.

Christian Life Commission…$10,000
To educate the churches of the convention on timely moral issues affecting The culture of our state and promote the Emphasis Sundays of the Southern Baptist Convention. Also, to fund the services of our Legislative Coordinator to digest and evaluate proposed legislation.

FreeWay Foundation…$10,000
To provide a bridge for MBC youth pastors to the public school system.To teach Biblical principles (delivered with our drug, alcohol, and Violence Prevention Education) in public schools. To impact the local church’s neighborhood by allowing area youth pastors to meet kids outside the church setting.

Christian Women’s Job Corps…$5,000
A WMU program dedicated to helping women achieve financial and personal success in life. Volunteer coordinator assistance.(Mileage, brochure printing, scholarships for training)

Multi-housing Ministry Evangelism…$10,000
Assist new multi-housing church plants with start-up funds, networking funds to encourage multi-housing church planters, scholarship monies for multi-housing church planters to attend national/ state training events.

SENDING Missouri Missionaries

Disaster Relief…$45,000
Assist Churches and Associations in training DR workers in the areas of mass care,shower trailer, chains saw, child care, mud out, assessment, blue hat and chaplains. Funds also for the purpose of upkeep on equipment and the state facility in Marshall.

Resort Ministries / Special Missions Projects…$10,000
To assist the associations in the lake areas to minister to the vacationers and evangelize them. Block parties, chaplains, purchasing Bibles and gospel tracts, bottled water, VBS, backyard Bible clubs, mileage, evangelistic events,campground ministry, weekend church services. Ministry of sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ at many rescue missions.

Missouri Partnership Missions…$65,000
To help Missouri Baptist Churches become Acts 1:8 churches by providing mission opportunities in-state, out-of-state and overseas. To help maintain and facilitate our existing partnerships in Illinois, Ontario and Western Gateway Cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples and to explore future domestic and International partnerships.

Associational Partnerships (% of 750,000 goal)…$68,000
Ministry partnership with the associations of Missouri.

Collegiate Summer Missionaries…$120,000
A vital way to introduce college students to mission endeavors designed to create in them a life long passion and commitment to missions and ministry as a part of their journey with Christ. It also serves as a vital link between the MBC and the smaller and rural churches and associations of the state.

Missouri Missions Offering Promotion…$20,000
To promote and educate Missouri churches about the importance of the Missions Offering. Provide promotional print material, CD’s and videos.

Missouri Hunger Relief…$20,000
To assist local churches/associations with hunger needs in their geographical area as a means of evangelistic outreach. Evangelistic opportunities are madepossible as individuals/families/communities make requests for hunger assistance.

Missouri Baptist Scholarships…$10,000
Providing quality education and spiritual guidance for the thousands ofStudents at Hannibal-LaGrange College and Southwest Baptist University.

Baptist Builders…$1,500
Provide some reimbursement for Baptist Builder Coordinator and recognition and training for BB volunteers.

Missouri Baptist Children’s Home (based on 17% agreement)…$127,500
Caring for children and youth on our five campuses. Providing spiritual guidance, counseling and a safe haven from abuse and neglect.

STARTING more Missouri churches

New Church Plants…$95,000
Starting new churches. Provide funds for salary support, rental assistance and start-up costs for new church starts.

Congregational Assistance…$95,000
Financial support for existing church plants. Provide funding for continued support of new congregations during years 2, 3, etc. Funds are designated for pastoral support, rental assistance, program development, etc.

Preschool/Children’s Ministry Module (for Church Plants)…$10,000
To provide comprehensive, portable, and age appropriate Sunday School Ministry module to church plants for birth through 6th grade, with a 52 week LifeWay curriculum that can be recycled each year. Training will be provided to every church plant that is selected to receive the modules.

Indigenous Multicultural Leadership Development…$5,000
To prepare indigenous pastors and lay people who will become competent leaders within their own churches.
